She served churches in Michigan, Kansas, and Ohio and now in her retirement lives in the country north of Athens where she enjoys writing. Her novels Like Sheep, Like a Fox, Like a Fig Tree, and Like Balaam's Ass are church mysteries and reveal some of the complexities of the life of a pastor.

THE MEN OF GRACE will meet for breakfast on Saturday, October 19, at 7:30 a.m. at the IHOP on 72 in Madison.

Registration and fellowship will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a meal being served at 6:00 p.m. The program, "The Outreach Foundation", will be presented by Rev. Dr. Mark Mueller, Director of Development. THE 4TH QUARTER GRACE HELPING MADISON DRIVE will be a sock drive for the homeless shelters in the Madison/Huntsville area. Please bring brand new pairs of socks and place them in the blue bin in the narthex. Men's, women's, and children's socks in all sizes are needed. Any style of socks will be welcome. Socks are a constant need for our homeless brothers and sisters, so providing new socks will help them stay warm during the upcoming winter and promote good foot care. The sock drive will run through January 5, 2020.
