ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE NOVEMBER 25 BULLETIN

FLOWERS ARE GIVEN TODAY by Rebecca Harbor Jones to the Glory of God and in memory of William Lee Jones.

NO YOUTH TONIGHT. Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving break!

THE INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE will rehearse tonight at the church from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

OUR LITURGIST TODAY is Rebecca Harbor Jones.

TODAY WE WILL DECORATE THE CHURCH FOR ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS after the worship service. Volunteers are needed, and greatly appreciated, to help bring decorations down from the attic, hang swag, and fluff bows and wreaths. A soup and sandwich lunch will be provided. Please consider staying and lending your hands if you are able. With many people traveling for Thanksgiving, we need all the help possible.

RINGING BELLS FOR THE SALVATION ARMY is coming up this Saturday, December 1, at the Madison Walmart, on Madison Boulevard. The Grace Mission Team is looking for volunteers to work a two-hour shift, ringing bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. This is a great way to serve a good cause and get in the spirit of the season. Grace PC will be covering both doors from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., so please select a time and volunteer by emailing Jim Hutcheson at jhutch99@bellsouth.net.

THE GRACE HELPING MADISON DRIVE to benefit Kids to Love is ending soon. If you haven't already, please pick a leaf from the fall tree and bring your new gifts to the church by December 1. Donations will go to Kids to Love's Christmas for the Kids program.

THE BODY BALANCE AND GENTLE YOGA CLASSES will not meet on Saturday, December 1, and Saturday, December 8.

NEXT SUNDAY'S WORSHIP SERVICE will include the Hanging of the Greens Service, which explains the church's traditions of candles, wreaths, trees, and carols, as well as the first sermon of the Advent series The Redemption of Scrooge.

THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY for the adults of the congregation will be our traditional Wine and Cheese. The party will be Friday, December 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Ted and Chris Sendak. Please bring an hors d'oeuvre or dessert to share and a drink of your choice. Hot spiced cider will be provided, along with soft drinks.
