FLOWERS ARE GIVEN TODAY by Valerie McLaughlin to the Glory of God and in honor of Kim and Elliott's anniversary and Kelsey's birthday.

OUR LITURGIST TODAY is Rebecca Harbor Jones.

YOUTH WILL MEET TONIGHT at the church from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for dinner and a program.

TEAM LEADER & ELDER ROUNDTABLE will meet tonight at 6:00 p.m., followed by Ministry Team meetings at 6:30 p.m.

MINISTRY TEAM LEADERS COMMISSIONED TODAY are Linda Hettinger for Youth, Paul House for Mission, Nichole O'Brien for Administration & Finance, and Meghan Laury Tucker for Christian Education.

THE MEN OF GRACE will meet for breakfast this Saturday, August 26, at 7:30 a.m. at the IHOP in Madison. Rev. Tom Lewis will be speaking to the group about his church, Copeland Presbyterian Church.

ENJOY A DAY AT THE PHfC (Presbyterian Home for Children). A bus tour will depart from and return to Grace PC on Tuesday, August 29. The PHfC will serve you lunch followed by a tour of the campus and schools. You will get to see one of the residential cottages and meet some of the residents. Students at the elementary school will perform their school songs and tell you all about the school. "THE SPIRITUAL CARE OF FAMILY CARE GIVERS for Those with Physical or Cognitive Decline or Mental Illness" will be presented by the HAPC School of Applied Ministry on Tuesday, September 12, 6:00-8:30 p.m. (supper and registration at 5:30) at First Baptist Church, 600 Governor's Drive. YOUTH AND PARENTS WILL MEET TONIGHT at the church from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for dinner and to plan for the fall semester.

THE ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST to kick off the new Sunday School year will be held in the Fellowship Hall next Sunday, August 20, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. To volunteer to cook, bring items, or clean up, call Jim Kennedy at 256-797-5902 or email at JimKennedy@knology.net. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex. If you plan to attend, please sign up by Noon on Wednesday, August 16, so that the team can have enough food. The suggested donation is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Additional donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of Christian Education curriculum.
