Other items:
Snack packs for lunches such as crackers and tuna or crackers and chicken salad
Dog food and cat food (small packages or cans with pop-tops)
Ready to feed baby formula
Mission Work at Grace
Currently mission work includes:
- Harvest of Grace Community Garden – food is grown on our premises and donated to Downtown Rescue Mission.
- Canned and dry good donations each Sunday to support St. Elizabeth’s food bank in Madison.
- Presbyterian Home for Children – monetary support, leadership.
- Christmas gifts for children and the elderly.
- Little Free Library – to promote reading for children and adults.
- Presbyterian Special Offerings:
- One Great Hour of Sharing – provides relief from natural disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed
- Pentecost – Supports children at risk, youth, and young adults by provides opportunities for young people to grow and share in their faith in Christ.
- Peace and Global Witness – promotes the peace of Christ by addressing systems of injustice in our own communities and across the world.
- Christmas Joy Offering – provides assistance to current and retired church workers and their families in their time of need and develops our future leasers at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.
Mission Team
This Ministry Team is responsible for helping Grace be a mission-oriented congregation actively engaged in service locally and internationally. This includes Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) mission projects, ecumenical and interfaith relationships, community service projects, and helping individuals and families in need.
