Minister – Reverend Robin Palmer
The Rev. Robin Palmer received a B.A. with Honors, in 1991 from Samford University, AL. and earned a Master of Divinity in 1996 from Columbia Theological Seminary, GA. Robin has been the minister at Grace Presbyterian Church since August 2003. Robin is married to the Rev. David Palmer. They have two daughters.
Director of Music Ministries and Choir Director – Jamie Clay
Jamie Clay received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, a Master of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Jamie is currently teaching piano, voice, clarinet, saxophone, and flute at Colors Fine Arts Center.
Handbell Choir Director – Martie Kullman
Martie Kullman has been ringing handbells since she was in elementary school. She started teaching and directing in the early 80’s. She has been directing handchimes and handbells at Grace for 20 years. Her educational background is in Interior Design in which she is still involved. She is married to a retired Army colonel. They are both involved in the church. Martie has one grown daughter.
Organist – Brenda Davis
Brenda holds a BS degree in Music Education from South Carolina State University and a Masters in Secondary School Counselling and Psychology from Alabama A&M University. Brenda is a member of Fellowship Presbyterian Church where she previously served as Director of Music Ministry, retiring in 2018. She is also retired as Director of Career Development Services from Alabama A&M University. Brenda is a founder/director of the Huntsville Spiritual Chorale, Inc. along with her husband, William.
Meleah Shrout
Meleah Shrout holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano. In 2018, Meleah and her husband Chris moved to Huntsville for a job, and they soon felt like this was home. Meleah currently accompanies for The Huntsville Community Chorus Youth Chorale and works with students as an accompanist at UAH. She enjoys teaching and has a studio at Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment where she works with children and adults of all ages. When she is not playing the piano, Meleah spends time with her husband and two young children. They enjoy being outside, hosting friends and family, and exploring new things in town.
Administrative Assistant- Alex Ford
Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology after attending Auburn University and graduating from University of Huntsville in Alabama. She and her husband Nathan were married by Robin’s husband David in 2011, and she and Nathan have known the Palmers since they were young. They now have two beautiful young children. She previously worked at SAIC for 4 years until 2017, then became a stay-at-home mother until now. In Alex’s spare time, she loves running as a hobby and coaching her daughter in soccer!
