Stephen Ministry

Pastors will always be on the front lines of care, especially during crises. But there are always more needs of ongoing personal care than pastors can effectively meet on their own.

Stephen Ministry is our congregation’s one-to-one caregiving ministry. God works through Stephen Ministers to plant a seed of hope and healing in a person whose life seems barren and forlorn because of a crisis or tragedy.

Stephen Ministers:

  • Listen
  • Explore feelings
  • Pray
  • Share Christ’s love
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Attend to the caregiving and leave the results to God.

Our caregiver support group meets on the 1st Monday of each month. This is open to anyone who is caring for another of any age or any situation.
